This service provides keyword searchable full-text documents from over 5,600 news, business, legal, medical and reference publications.

Columbia International Affairs Online (CIAO)
CIAO covers theory and research in international affairs. It publishes a wide range of scholarly material from 1991 to the present, including working papers from university research institutes, occasional paper series from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, and proceedings from conferences.

Congressional Universe (Lexis-Nexis)
Congressional Universe provides access to Congressional hearings, public issues, legislation, legislative histories, and legal research. It includes the full-text of Congressional information including member biographies, committee assignments, committee transcripts, voting records and financial data.

CQ Staff Directories: Congressional, Judicial, Federal
Electronic versions of Congressional Quarterly's staff directories. These directories cover the U.S. Congress, departments and agencies of the Federal government, and Federal and state courts. Biographical information is also available for selected officials.

Data and Statistical Services
Data and Statistical Services is part of Firestone Library's Social Science Reference Center. The Data Library is a collection of over 24,000 machine-readable files, primarily in the social sciences but also in the sciences and humanities. The DSS consulting lab, located in A-16-H-3 at the back of the Social Science Reference Center, offers hands-on assistance with data extraction and management and use of statistical software.

Datastream International
Up to date as well as historical international data on stocks, indices, bonds, commodities, futures, options, earning forecasts (IBES), economic conditions, interest rates, exchange rates, and economic forecasts. Minimum frequency is daily for financial information. Data is derived from national governments, central banks, the International Monetary Fund, OECD, major investment houses, stock exchanges, and Datastream's own researchers. Economist Intelligence Unit Country Profiles and Reports
Country Reports cover nearly 200 countries producing in-depth, independent analysis every three months in the form of main reports and, for a wide range of key countries, monthly updates. Coverage includes the political scene, economic policy, the domestic economy, sectoral trends, and foreign trade and payments.

Factiva
Contains the full text of articles appearing in international news sources, including Dow Jones and Reuters Newswires and The Wall Street Journal, as well as multilingual content drawn from nearly 8,000 sources.

FSO (Fulltext Sources Online)
A directory of publications that are accessible online in full text, from 29 major database producers.The directory lists periodicals, newspapers, newsletters, newswires, and TV or radio transcripts. It covers topics in science, technology, medicine, law, finance, business, industry, the popular press and more. It also lists the URLs of publications with Internet archives, noting whether access to them is free or not.

GPO Access
The U.S. Government Printing Office's gateway to congressional information provides full-text access to important Congressional documents. The Catalog of U.S. Government Publications is also available here.

International Political Science Abstracts
Produced since 1951 by the International Political Science Association,this is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles from periodicals published throughout the world.

Jane's Online
Jane's is a database that draws upon multiple sources of information on the subject of global security matters, specializing in coverage of national defense capabilities and the defense industry itself. Princeton's subscription to this database includes access to four Janes's services: All the World's Aircraft, Armour and Artillery, Fighting Ships, and World Defence Industry.

Latin American Newsletters
A database of current information on political and economic developments in Latin America and the Caribbean. Includes the Latin American Weekly Report, Latin American Economy & Business, Latin American Security & Strategic Review, and the Latin American Monitoring Centre.

Middle Eastern & Central Asian Studies
An index to journal and newspaper articles, books, and web sites on the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa. Coverage is from 1900 to the present and includes the following fields: politics, law, international relations, economics, literature, religion, arts, anthropology, history and archaeology.

National Journal
This database provides comprehensive politics and policy information including the National Journal, Almanac of American Politics, Markup Reports, Congress Daily and Poll Track.

NewsBank Full-Text Newspapers
A collection of over 471 full-text national and regional newspapers. Regional papers include the Philadelphia Inquirer (exclusive) back to 1981 and the Miami Herald (exclusive) back to 1982, plus other important newspapers from all states. The Star Ledger (Newark, NJ) is available from 1996 and the Detroit Free Press from 1982 to the present.

PAIS (Public Affairs Information Service)
The PAIS database is produced by the OCLC Public Affairs Information Service. It is a bibliographic index to the literature of public policy, social policy, and the social sciences in general. Content coverage includes journal articles, books, government documents, statistical compilations, committee reports, directories, serials, and reports of public, intergovernmental, and private organizations.

PolicyFile
PolicyFile indexes and provides full-text links to publications addressing the complete range of public policy research with content from public policy think tanks, university research programs, research organizations and publishers.

Polling the Nations
Polling the Nations is a compilation of surveys conducted in the United States and more than 80 other countries from 1986 to the present. Each record includes a question asked and the responses given, the polling organization responsible for the work, the date the information was released, the sample size, and the groups or areas included in the interview.

RAND
RAND is a nonprofit think tank that provides research and analysis to further policy decision making. Areas of expertise include health, international policy, social welfare, population and regional studies, education and child policy.

Social Science Citation Index
The Social Sciences Citation Index is a multidisciplinary index to the journal literature of the social sciences. It fully indexes more than 1,725 journals across 50 social sciences disciplines, and indexes individually selected items from over 3,300 other journals. Areas covered include sociology, political science, urban studies and public health.

Social Science Research Network
The SSRN eLibrary consists of an abstract database containing abstracts on over 64,600 scholarly working papers and forthcoming papers and an electronic paper collection currently containing over 41,800 downloadable full text documents in Adobe Acrobat pdf format.

Sociological Abstracts
CSA Sociological Abstracts abstracts and indexes the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. The database provides abstracts of journal articles and citations to book reviews drawn from over 1,700 serial publications, and also provides abstracts of books, book chapters, dissertations, and conference papers.

SourceOECD
SourceOECD is the online library of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Coverage includes monographs, annuals, reports and studies. Users have online access to all titles from January 1998 onwards and can build tables from statistical databases on such topics as exchange rates, national accounts, population, labor and economic statistics.

State Capital Universe (Lexis-Nexis)
Search this database to find full-text of legislation, regulations, bills, statutes and constitutions, and information about members of legislatures for all 50 states. Also includes discussions of policy issues facing the states.

Statistical Universe (Lexis-Nexis)
This database contains national income and production statistics, retail and wholesale trade data, interest rates, economic indicators, industrial indicators, and social and demographic statistics.

Westlaw Campus
Westlaw Campus permits users to search and retrieve the full text of federal and state legal cases and legislative materials. Documents can also be accessed through subject categories such as Civil Rights, International Law and Environmental Law.

World Bank E-Library
This database provides electronic access to over 1,200 World Bank titles.

World Development Indicators Online
This database, compiled by the World Bank Group, offers the opportunity to construct custom statistical tables on economic and financial indicators for 226 countries from 1960 to 2002.

World News Connection
Compiled from non-U.S. media sources, this online news service covers significant socioeconomic, political, scientific, technical, and environmental issues and events.

World Trade Analyzer (Trade Measures Worldview)
This database, the online version of World Trade Analyzer, covers international trade flows. It is compiled by Statistics Canada from raw data collected by the United Nations, and provides data for 180 countries and world regions.

WorldTradeLaw.net
This is a legal research tool for World Trade Organization dispute settlements. Features include a searchable summary and analysis of arbitrations, a keyword index, and a database of dispute settlement statistics.

Worldwide Political Science Abstracts
This database provides citations and abstracts for hundreds of journal articles in all areas of political science from 1975 to the present.
